What is a kidney nodule?

its a triangular section of a kidney,the kidney is composed of a group of nodules which side to side make a complete kidney ,each section has its own collecting system and ends up in the pyramids in the kidney pelvis,its more of a pathological term to denote nodular surface or abnormality like a m or tissue growing beyond the normal surface
