I've never broken a bone but I'll bet it hurts. Perhaps crying is something you should understand is something you own - you own your own tears. Really, why blame the parents if you are choosing not to cry because they said not to given the fact that it isn't morally wrong or physically wrong.

Why won't Inkscape save .svg files?

I downloaded the latest version of inkscape. Now whenever I try to save something, it saves as a "file" with no extension. I tried reinstalling, and that didn't work. When I click "save as" Inkscape SVG is one of the available file types, but that isn't what it saves as. Any ideas?

Yes. The water should not be boiling with the bubbles rising up because the bubbles rip the egg apart. Next time bring the water to a boil, then turn off the heat under the pot, then put in the vinegar, then put the egg in the water and let it sit in the water, then watch the egg as it cooks, and if it needs more heat to cook, turn the burner on low and cook it, but make sure that the water doesn't come to a boil. When you think the egg may be cooked, turn off the burner, take a fork and poke the white part of the egg, not the yolk, as you may break the yolk, and if the white part is hard enough for you, use a round spatula that is large enough to hold the egg and take it out of the pot and there you go. I do it an easier way. I bring a pot of water to a boil, and once it is boiling, I turn off the burner and put in a whole egg in the shell, then I turn on the burner and cook it for exactly 6 minutes, then I turn off the burner and run cold water into the pot with the egg still in it, then I crack the shell and peel the shell off the egg and place it on a piece of toast and cut the egg with my fork and eat it with the toast. A 6 minute egg will have the yolk soft and the white part hard. There is less of a mess doing it this way and less chance of the egg getting broken up by the boiling water where one may loose part of the egg. I hope this helps.

ok i know this is long but please read and give me your thoughts or info! I am going back to the cardio doctor so im not trying to diagnose myself but to just have some ideas. Ok so its been about a year now I will be doing apsalutly nothing and or I could be doing very heavy excersize and it can vary but i will have a shark pain like Im being stabbed in the heart and sometimes it lasts only a few seconds or a couple of minutes. it happend severly while at swim practice so i got out and i couldnt breath so they put me on oxygen and called paremedics. by the time they got there 30 min later i was fine so there was nothing to see or hear. i then went to the heart doctor and they found that i have an anurism in my heart on the aorta and the anurism has a hole in it. they said i would be fine but to watch it when i get to my 20's to 30s, they talked about fixing it or blood thinners but said i was young enough i should be ok. but if a clot or partical were to get through the hole it would go to my brain and kill me. anyways it got better but its been happening again and it feels like i cant breath and what is really bothering me is it feels like my heart is being forced to beat, that its taking all my energy to keep it beating. I am only 16 but with the other heart problems i dont know if its somthing to worry about and what could it posibly be?! thank you so much!

People like Tapan Pal are the first one who comes out on street to gain publicity by what ever way they can. This man doesn't understand the need for such legislature, it is not just providing monthly maintenance to aged parents & destitute which already exist in the form of section 125 of the Criminal Procedure Code, but even protecting their property from being misused or alienated during their lifetime by their greedy children who usually do so on the misguidance from their individual spouses. The purpose of protecting the old, aged people from any sort of domestic violence against them is the second reason for such legislature. The old & aged are left unattended by their children & no one is to look after them & get them proper medical care. In order to force the children to attend the old, aged & sick parents is the third reason for such legislature. Now tell me if for the first time any central government thought to bring such legislature what harm they will be doing to the society? This man talks of why old people should depend on their children as the children never asked them to give birth to them, he talks of child in the womb never asked the mother to carry her or give him birth, etc, what utter bullshit this guy talks, he must not have born by his mother but must have dropped from skies by some ping big bird as part of her s*hit that’s why he talks all such foolish things. Help? Family trouble. More details below...?

My parents are getting a divorce. I can't even explain how I feel about this. Our family (me, my dad, my mom, and my little brother) is very close. And then suddenly they want to split up and I dont know why. I'm 15 and my brother is 12. I don't know why but I'm taking it a lot harder than he is. He actually got excited when my mom talked about the house she wants to buy. I have a lot of friends but I feel like I'm whining too much if i talk to them about it. I've never felt so alone, I feel like I can't talk to anyone. We haven't sold the house yet but my moms always gone now. She also has a boyfriend, don't ask how I know this. When she's at home she's always locked up in her room and i feel like i cant talk to her. My dad and i are very close but he's really depressed about this whole thing cause it was my moms idea to get the divorce. So that makes me feel like Id be making it worse if i talked to him about it. I also am basically taking responsibility of everything. My dad's working all the time and my moms basically out partying all the time so I'm taking care of my brother too. I clean and cook for the both of us, along with trying to survive 10th grade. We're also really tight on money and its so stressful I want to scream. And I feel awful about whining about it because other people have worse things going on. But I can't help it. I've tried everything. I don't want to sound like a drama queen but sometimes I wish i could just die. I'm tired in everyway possible, physically, mentally, emotionally. I want to lie down and sleep for a million years but I never have time. Im just plain exhausted. And typing this all out on Yahoo makes me feel even more pathetic but I have to get it out. Baby Snapper Turtle Help?!?!?

On June 3rd, a mama snapper turtle laid eggs in my backyard. It is now August 20th and i found 2 baby turtles swimming in my (saltwater) pool. we rescued them and have them in a little bucket with some water and rocks to stand on. I have many questions. How many more turtles should be coming? I hear they lay 60-90 eggs, but do all of those eggs make it on to be little turtles, or do lots die prematurely? Also, what should i feed these turtles/ do with them because im not sure if you can keep snapper turtles because they're dangerous. The mama went on to the creek in my yard, but im scared because the babies will go to the pool before getting to the creek. I have this friend we'll call Brett so I don't give his name away and he's dating my other friemd who we'll call Aimee and they started dating in October after talking for like 2 days in my History cl. How should I deal with a manager who is unqualified for his position? Should I go over his head?

Long story short, last year my company decided to launch a new division. The VP tapped my manager to lead the new initiative. Realizing that he lacked the knowledge or understanding to make this initiative a success, he recognized that he would need to hire someone with the appropriate knowledge and experience to make the initiative viable; hence he hired me. The challenge I face is that while my manager understands the objective that we are trying to achieve he has absolutely no clue as to the processes that are necessary to reach our goals. Up until now, this has not largely been a problem. He has "stayed out of my way" and allowed me to do my job as necessary. However, he is now trying to become more directly involved and that is impeding our progress. My friend had a Robins bird nest under her deck and what I could see it looked to be 3 or 4 baby birds in the nest. The whipped cream from the can will fall apart withing the first half hour. It doesn't contain gelatin in it to help it keep its shape like Cool Whip does. Even if you froze it the pie would still fall apart with the canned stuff. If you used heavy whipping cream and whipped that up instead then it might work (would work for 3 hours beforehand), but the aerosol ingredients in the canned whipped cream are what will cause it to fall apart quickly.

You need to obtain 30-40 ammunition for it. That particular cartridge is not in great demand anymore and the shells while available they are not easy to find (I reload for mine). You should be able to order some from Cabela's or Midway. I have that caliber in a Model 95 Winchester and am looking forward to hunting with it this fall.

Dog won't eat out of food dish?

One of our dogs has some issue with eating out of her food dish. What she does is she grabs a mouthful of food, walks over near us, spits it out on the floor, and eats it near us. We've placed her food dish closer to use when she eats leaving her to put it on the floor next to her dish. We got a new dog last May who has no problem eating out of the food dish. As it's probably too late to get this behavior out of her (she's done this for about two and a half years now) could anyone at least explain why she might be doing this? She didn't do this when we first got her and at this point we are living fine with this oddity.

I think it reflects more the nature of our economic system. People tend to reflect the environment that surrounds them. Say what you want about capitalism, it's a system based on greed as a motive force. Not that I really think that's such a bad idea. I just think it's silly and possibly naive to think you can base your whole country on the power of rational self interest and then expect that having a religion based on selflessness will somehow cancel that out. I grew up with the movie. Its one of my first memories of movies. I used to watch it constantly. We moved and I guess somehow over the years it got lost but I've always remembered it. A few days ago I went to the library and checked out the book. Its amazing! The characters, their realtionships, the cirstances. Its a great story. I've heard mostly positive feedback about the book and movie. The only negative comments that I've heard was that it was racist,ist and they didn't approve of Celie and Shug's relationship. I found it quite endearing. I actually see it more as a friendship even though it is ual. They were there for eachother emotionally and that really enpowered Celie- to have love and worth.I just think its a great story!! I LOVE it and trying to get the movie but its not at any local stores so I may try to order it off the internet. Anyone have Hypothyroidism? Or any Doctors out there?

I was diagnosed with hypothyroidism in December 06. The Dr. prescribed me Synthroid 100mcg. I was fine when I went for a second blood test several months ago. Just recently I went to the Dr. to get another blood test. My TSH is now 2.40 She prescribed me 125 mcg. Then she said it was “low normal” witch makes no sense to me. What does that mean? Is normal 0.5? She also said I could stay with the 100 mcg. But why would I stay with 100 mcg if its low? So, is 2.40 too low? Should I up my dose? Why do Doctors have to make things so complicated. Someone help me out here that knows what they are talking about!! Thanks!

At 18 or 19 a "kid" should be able to help financially if they decide to live with their parents. However, different cultures have several generations living in the same house. It also depends on the kid, what the career path involves, disabilities.... etc... However, I lived at home until I was 25 working my way through college and a masters program with a child. I helped financially and with the household duties. You don't want to enable your children by being dependent on the parents, they need to learn about responsibility to one day survive on their own in the adult world. I worked my stay and now I am a Licensed Counselor.

So me and my ex, josh, went out for almost a month- he broke up with me the day before the monthaversery on facebook. PLEASE HELP! Neck pain in C7 but no tingling or numbness in arms.?

I have been diagnosed with disc bulge and degenerative disc disease I have had MRI's, Cat scans as well as months of physical therapy (which only made the pain spread to between my shoulder blades) . I have has this pain for 3 years, originally it was just in the ball of my spine when I would get stressed in any way such as working on an essay or sitting on the floor without any support on my back. Currently the pain has spread up into my neck to a point where I am not able to sleep for 8 hours straight. I am constantly waking up from pain. If I fall asleep on my right side the pain will be on the left side of my neck, so I have to switch to laying on my left side then the pain will move over to me right side and so on. I am currently not on any medication but with the pain now preventing me sleep schedule I am seeking home remedies, advice as to what this really is...ANYTHING! I am 21 years old with chronic pain in my neck and I'm just so tired. I want some sort of relief even if it only lasts for a little while. I just want a break. Any help is greatly appreciated. Computers DO NOT "run a little slower" over time, unless you're doing something wrong. (I have servers that have been running for 7 years (since we moved into this building), and they're as fast as the day they were first turned on. (Granted, not as fast as a new cheap laptop, but still as fast as when they were new.) Of course we don't fill the drives to capacity, or download viruses, or have 50 programs running in the background, just in case we need one of them once a month. Those things slow computers down.

7 yrs and many times I found evidence of cheating.. He does not support our kids financially and I really don't want to touch him physically anymore just based on the cheating... it's a turn ff to me, and all I can think of is "did he do this the same way with me, as he did her?"
