PLEASE HELP! Neck pain in C7 but no tingling or numbness in arms.?

I have been diagnosed with disc bulge and degenerative disc disease I have had MRI's, Cat scans as well as months of physical therapy (which only made the pain spread to between my shoulder blades) . I have has this pain for 3 years, originally it was just in the ball of my spine when I would get stressed in any way such as working on an essay or sitting on the floor without any support on my back. Currently the pain has spread up into my neck to a point where I am not able to sleep for 8 hours straight. I am constantly waking up from pain. If I fall asleep on my right side the pain will be on the left side of my neck, so I have to switch to laying on my left side then the pain will move over to me right side and so on. I am currently not on any medication but with the pain now preventing me sleep schedule I am seeking home remedies, advice as to what this really is...ANYTHING! I am 21 years old with chronic pain in my neck and I'm just so tired. I want some sort of relief even if it only lasts for a little while. I just want a break. Any help is greatly appreciated. PLEASE HELP!
