Has one ever heard of thems dishwashin boxes my mama says theys from the devil?

My in-laws believed cats sucked the breath out of babies and that they shouldn't be allowed anywhere near a baby, and that if you got a blister you shouldn't drain it until after sundown, and that a game ranger couldn't give you a ticket if a person ran from him and got in their own house before he got to them. Plus a lot more things that I won't mention here.
