If a guy you barely know grabs your hand when talking, does he like you?

He was talking seriously, sort of trying to give me advice about something, and grabbed my hand, and looked me in the eyes, like he really wanted me to hear what he was saying. He's older than me, so maybe its just that he's polite and gentlemanly, but sometimes I feel, maybe there's something more. I have only met him twice though.
