CCC - UC transfer question. Would a Winter '09 cl still count in GPA consideration for FALL 09 acceptance?

If I don't perform as well academically as I hoped in this fall semester, could I take an "easy A" cl in Winter 09 (Jan 5 - Feb 8) and have my GPA raised a bit? I've heard that our Fall 08 grades are due on February 15, 2009. Will a Winter 09 cl be considered as well?
