He's looking at jail time most likely. If it were his first offense he possibly could have gotten off with a plea bargain where he would have to take a course and a whole bunch of community service. The fact that he was also on probation exacerbates things. Really all you can do is hope for a lenient judge and hope that he gives minimal jail time.
