How to introduce and older cat to a kitten who owned the house?

Cats are like humans, you get along with someone and you don't get along with someone else. I have a fifteen year old cat now and last year I brought home a kitten, two actually six months after the first. Most times my older cat hisses and may swat, but other times all three can be eating out of the same dish. It all depends on the cat and the mood their in I suppose. You can't force them to be friends, but keep an eye on them and see if there are times when the other cat doesn't hiss.
